Small items, rugs, and loose objects should be removed before we arrive. Larger furniture can often stay in place if we are cleaning around it.

For heavier items, we follow the same general furniture guideline we use for carpet cleaning: if it is large, heavy, delicate, or difficult to move safely, it typically stays in place and we clean around it.
