For furniture we move, we use protective pads under the legs to help prevent moisture transfer while the carpet dries. Larger furniture that stays in place can simply remain where it is.

We recommend waiting until the carpet is fully dry before removing protective pads or placing rugs, plastic mats, or heavy items back on the cleaned areas.
